As the globe’s reigning pop icon, isn’t one to be kept waiting. Yet, she found herself alongside her father, Scott, idling by the runway for nearly an hour on Tuesday night as arrived late for their private flight.
DailyMail.com captured the moment the star duo boarded a luxurious Gulfstream jet headed for the East Coast. However, the plans took an unexpected turn when Taylor and Scott boarded at 6:05 PM, but the Kansas City Chiefs tight end did not show up in his Hummer until 7 PM. The rush was palpable as a bewildered Kelce attempted to drive his large electric vehicle towards the plane, only to discover the gate was locked. Thankfully, a member of Swift’s highly trained security team assisted him, allowing a flustered Kelce to dash onto the $61 million aircraft.
Interestingly, their departure coincided with that of his brother Jason, who was arriving at the same Kansas City-area airport for a return flight to Philadelphia.

With the NFL having a bye week, Kelce took the opportunity to escape with his girlfriend.
Swift had to wait nearly an hour before her partner finally joined her on the flight.
The couple set off for the East Coast after departing from Missouri.
Kelce’s weekend off from the NFL means he won’t return to training until the team starts preparations for their October 20 matchup against the 49ers. He had spent the previous day hosting Swift at his expansive Kansas City home, after she and Scott arrived 24 hours prior to attend the Saints game. The pair celebrated the Chiefs’ Week 5 victory with affectionate displays, including a post-game kiss captured on X in Swift’s VIP suite.
Despite some speculation surrounding her absence during Travis’s 35th birthday celebrations the previous Saturday, where he hosted a car festival and private dinner, Swift’s appearance at the Saints game was highly anticipated after Kelce casually mentioned her arrival to guests at his Kelce Car Jam event.
Travis was able to celebrate his birthday with close family, including his mother Donna, father Ed, brother Jason, and his wife Kylie. They were joined by Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany, who arrived in a stunning $500,000 Ferrari 812 supercar, part of a lineup of luxury vehicles showcased during the charity event benefiting Kelce’s 87 & Running Foundation.
The family continued the celebrations with an afterparty at the luxurious Aristocrat Lounge in downtown Kansas City.

Whispers about Swift’s visit to Kansas City had been circulating, especially regarding a rumor that she had reserved a popular barbecue restaurant for a pre-birthday celebration. Despite the intrigue, her presence remained unconfirmed, as she carefully maintains her travel privacy following the thwarted attack at her concert in Vienna last August.
Swift also missed witnessing the Chiefs’ victory over the Los Angeles Chargers 17-10 the previous Sunday. However, insiders reported that her absence was simply due to the nature of away games—where she often finds it hard to spend time with Kelce. Keeping her attendance limited to home games allows them to enjoy serene moments together at his secluded residence, surrounded by tall trees and secured by a 24-hour gate.
This private sanctuary has served as a perfect location for low-profile dates and cozy movie nights. They were seen dining incognito last month at Noka, a nice restaurant that reportedly closed its doors to the public for their discreet meet-up.
Having just missed a couple of road games, Swift was back in the stands to cheer for the Chiefs and the festivities surrounding Kelce’s 35th birthday which he celebrated with a charity event in Kansas City.
This milestone followed a tumultuous period for the couple, marking one year since Swift first publicly supported Kelce at Arrowhead Stadium on September 24. Just weeks prior, they had to address claims that their romance was merely a PR stunt, sparked by leaked documents suggesting an imminent breakup strategy.
In response, Kelce’s PR team engaged lawyers to take actions against those who had fabricated documents. Just days after that leak, the couple was spotted affectionately enjoying themselves at the US Open, dispelling any rumors of a cooling relationship.
On the field, Kelce has struggled this season, leading fans to speculate whether his high-profile relationship is affecting his performance. Former ESPN analyst Todd McShay didn’t hold back in calling out Kelce on The Ryen Russillo Podcast, questioning if he’s in shape given his lavish lifestyle filled with parties and celebrity appearances.
Meanwhile, Jason Kelce, Travis’s older brother, soon took off for Philadelphia after the game.
Jason was returning to cover his brother’s NFL game as part of his responsibilities with ESPN.
