After releasing her 11th studio album The Tortured Poets Department , Taylor Swift released the MV for the album’s first single Fortnight .
Taylor Swift opens the music video in solitary confinement, chained to a bed, where she is given medicine and reluctantly takes it. Once she was no longer chained, she walked to the mirror and stared at herself as she wiped off her makeup, revealing the tattoos on her face. Her tattoo disappears as the video changes to a new setting.
Later, Taylor Swift walked into an office and sat across from Post Malone at a typewriter. Taylor Swift sings: “I love you. It’s ruining my life,” which is then echoed by the text on her typewriter.

MV Fortnight của Taylor Swift
The music video then cuts to Swift and Malone in a barren desert and Swift falls into his arms while hundreds of pieces of paper fly around them.
Taylor Swift wore a white coat, looking straight into the camera, with scientists – including the bespectacled, back-tattooed Malone – tracking her every move.
The end of the MV is Taylor Swift singing in the rain, she is destroying everything around her from the filing cabinet and trying to escape from solitary confinement.
Actors Ethan Hawke and Josh Charles also appear in the MV. They both starred in the 1989 film Dead Poets Society .
