Not even 24 hours after she closed out the U.S. leg of her “Eras Tour” concert series, Taylor Swift was already back in the stands supporting her boyfriend Travis Kelce for Monday night’s showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Swift in attendance for NFL games is a spectacle in itself, but the fans noticed one particular aspect of her outfit that stood out. The “Karma” singer donned a black vintage Chiefs bomber jacket, which turned out to be the highlight of her latest gameday look.
What’s interesting about the jacket is that, apparently, it was sold to her by a fan a couple of months ago.

In a recent TikTok post, the fan, who is named Court, revealed how Swift’s stylist purchased the jacket from her family on eBay back in August.
“It’s definitely a rare jacket, so, like, that’s why we even noticed in the first place that she was wearing it, because I think ours was the only one on eBay at the time when we listed it,” Court said in her TikTok video.
“So, it makes sense that if Taylor and her stylist had their eye on this particular piece, they bought it from us. It’s so crazy, and crazy to know they’re looking at these resale sites and awesome that they’re reusing old, vintage pieces.”

Court also spoke to People as she talked about the big mistake she made when she first posted the item on eBay. Apparently, the jacket was purchased for just $169. Court acknowledged how people have been telling her that she should have sold it for a much higher price.
“Obviously when we listed we had no idea who would be buying it,” she said.
While it is currently unknown how much the value of that jacket will be if ever it hits the market again, what you can say for sure is that it’s going to be much more than $169. The fact that Swift wore it at such a high-profile event makes it a very valuable collector’s item that will likely cost thousands of dollars.
As Court insinuated in her statement, however, there’s just no point crying over spilled milk. She may have made a big mistake by pricing the jacket at $169, but the fact of the matter is that it would not have made sense for her to list it at a much higher price several months ago.
As she said, nobody could have possibly known that the piece would catch Swift’s stylist’s attention. The fact that it even got to Swift and ended up being the highlight of her outfit for a Chiefs game is pretty mind-blowing.
