Donald Trump Wins 2024 U.S. Presidential Election, Set to Become 47th President
On November 6 (U.S. East Coast time), results of the 2024 U.S. presidential election were confirmed, with Republican candidate Donald Trump securing victory. According to the preliminary vote count as of 1:30AM, Trump achieved at least 270 electoral votes, crossing the necessary threshold and defeating Democratic candidate Kamala Harris to reclaim the White House as the 47th president of the United States.
The key win came in Pennsylvania, a battleground state carrying 19 electoral votes, which helped secure Trump’s path to victory. This win marks Trump’s second term in office, following his first tenure from 2016 to 2020.
