A Masterchef contestant was booted off the show after serving judges an uncooked and unplucked bird.
Cooking under pressure while on a competitive reality show is no easy feat as you are competing against other amateur chefs to impress the seasoned pros.
But imagine the pressure in the kitchen proves too much for you that you serve up a truly terrifying dish as a revenge stunt for the judges.
That’s exactly what happened in the Spanish edition of the popular cooking show when the contestants were asked to prepare and cook a whole partridge.

Saray Carrillo, who was 27 when she appeared on the show, was looking to wow the judges in the eighth season (2020), but harsh criticism of her previous efforts had turned the relationships sour.
It’s reported Saray told the panel that she had a fear of birds, so when the competitors were challenged to cook one for a challenge, she instead took it as a calculated attack on her, per The Mirror.
Rather than making any attempt to pluck, prepare, or cook the bird, the competitor placed it on a plate and then garnished it with some sliced tomatoes and spring onion.
She then walked up to the judge’s table with a smirk on her face and placed her horrific dish in front of them.
If she planned to leave the judges and contestants absolutely stunned then it worked as everyone’s jaws dropped the second they laid eyes on the uncooked bird. Some opponents even stood with their heads in their hands as one judge looked at the meal and uttered words in Spanish, which translated as: “This is never seen in MasterChef,” per Metro.
A clip of the moment was shared on X (formerly Twitter) and amassed 30,000 likes on the social media platform. It is considered to be one of the most talked about events in MasterChef history.
One person expressed their shock, writing: “I can’t believe this happened. Wow. No words…” while another exclaimed: “IMMM QUAKIINGGGG OOMFFGG.”
A third person quipped: “This is some Hunger Games type of s**t”, and a fourth person joked that the unplucked and uncooked bird would spark a “Covid-20” pandemic.
Surprisingly, many people jumped to the woman’s defense as one user slammed (translated from Spanish to English): “It’s a shame that you still continue to label this as the toughest cooking TALENT SHOW in the world.
“27 thousand people at home, to choose this one. You make fun weekly of people who do like to cook. Congratulations,” they added.
“I feel bad, the contestant was afraid of chickens and delivered the chicken with all the feathers on it. I LOVE YOU,” a second person remarked. “I enjoy the level of f***s given in her presentation, so so much #mood,” one more added.

Needless to say, the trio of experts declined the opportunity to sample the dreadful meal, and instead kicked Saray off the show after deeming her time on the show as a “mistake”.
She was clearly not bothered by her exit as she shrugged and said “bye-bye” before removing her apron.
